Visit Milwaukee has announced a new partnership with the Milwaukee Admirals, unveiling a first-ever collaborative warmup jersey which will debut during the Admirals’ home opener on October 19 at UW-Milwaukee Panther Arena.
Visit Milwaukee and the Milwaukee Admirals will promote the city and encourage out-of-town visitation to Admirals home games. The initiative includes the creation of a warmup jersey, with an expanded merchandising collaboration on the horizon. Ten percent of jersey sales will benefit the Visit Milwaukee Foundation. Proceeds will fund scholarships for college students pursuing careers in hospitality, helping to develop new talent for Milwaukee’s tourism and events industry.
“At Visit Milwaukee, we’re committed to highlighting all the exciting experiences our city has to offer and we’re thrilled to partner with the Admirals in such a unique way,” said Josh Albrecht, Visit Milwaukee chief marketing officer. “This partnership not only promotes Milwaukee to Admirals fans but also aligns with our broader efforts to support local teams through our sports division, Sports Milwaukee. The Admirals have played an important role in bringing visitors and championships to our city and we’re excited to continue building that legacy.”
The Admirals play in the American Hockey League and are the highest level affiliate of the National Hockey League‘s Nashville Predators. The warmup jersey will be worn throughout the Admirals’ 2024–2025 season.
“We are proud to be from Milwaukee and wear these jerseys at home at Panther Arena and on the road across the U.S. and in Canada as well,” said Admirals President Jon Greenberg. “We are thankful for our relationship with Visit Milwaukee and look forward to collaborating with to show off our great city.”
