Visit Lake Charles Announces Sports Division Hire

Visit Lake Charles in Louisiana has expanded its sports sales team aimed at increasing economic development in the Southwest Louisiana region with Aubrey Caldwell as the sports event coordinator.

Caldwell is pursing her Bachelor of Science in business management at McNeese State University, where she is on track to earn her degree this spring. She began her career in hospitality as the assistant manager at The Back Porch, a local restaurant.

“I am thrilled to have Aubrey join the sports sales team,” said Eric Zartler, senior vice president of sports at Visit Lake Charles. “In the short time that she has been here, she has added a fresh perspective to interacting and engaging with our partners and clients, which will be tremendously valuable as we work to bring more sporting events to Southwest Louisiana.”
