The United States Collegiate Athletic Association has announced State College, Pennsylvania, and Williamsburg, Virginia, as the alternating host sites for the USCAA Golf National Championships through 2028.
The 2025 and 2027 championships will be played at the Penn State Blue Course in State College, while the 2026 and 2028 championships will be played in Williamsburg on the Plantation Course at the Kingsmill Resort.
“This bid cycle was extremely unique,” said BJ Bertges, USCAA chief operating officer. “There was overwhelming feedback from current members to return to State College and the Penn State Blue Course, who have been outstanding hosts and partners for over 15 years. But Visit Williamsburg supplied a proposal that we simply could not pass up, so we were able to come to an agreement with both host sites to provide the best of both worlds.”
The 2025 championships, scheduled for October 12–14, will be organized by the USCAA National Office and the Happy Valley Adventure Bureau. The 2026 championships will be organized by the USCAA National Office and Visit Williamsburg.
The tournaments will include about 150 players on over 20 teams representing schools from multiple states.
“We are thrilled to support the United States Collegiate Athletic Association for the Golf National Championships through 2028,” said Edward Harris, chief executive officer of Visit Williamsburg. “As we welcome this prestigious event to Williamsburg, we are excited about the opportunity to showcase the region’s exceptional golf courses and to be a part of the growing collegiate golf community. We look forward to supporting the athletes, coaches and fans for years to come.”
