USA Swimming Announces 2025 Domestic Schedule
Seven different states will host events, with others still to be determined
Posted On: September 28, 2024 By :USA Swimming will hold the 2025 Open Water National and Junior National Championships April 4-6 in Sarasota, Florida, while Indianapolis will host the 2025 National Championships, June 3-7 and the U.S. Open will take place December 3-6 in Austin, Texas.
The 2025 event schedule also features Open Water Nationals and Junior Nationals, Speedo Winter Juniors, three TYR Pro Swim Series events, the Toyota U.S. Open and National Championships, June 3–7 in Indianapolis, which recently hosted the 2024 U.S. Olympic Swimming Trials at Lucas Oil Stadium.
The National Championships will select the team to represent the United States at the 2025 World Aquatics Championships, World Junior Swimming Championships and World University Games.
The season kicks off with two TYR Pro Swim Series events, with the first from March 5–8 in Westmont, Illinois, followed by the April 2–5 event in Sacramento, California. The final TYR Pro Swim Series event will be April 30 through May 3 in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
The five Futures events will be held on July 23–26 in Sacramento, California; Ocala, Florida; Greensboro, North Carolina; Madison, Wisconsin, and Justin, Texas.
The Speedo Junior Nationals will be in Irvine, California, from July 30 through August 3, followed the next week by the TYR Pro Championships, also in Irvine, from August 5–8.
The final two events of the 2025 season will be in December, with the Toyota U.S. Open taking place December 3-6 in Austin and the Speedo Winter Juniors following on December 10–13. A location has yet to be named for the final event.
USA Swimming also announced the election of Nic Fink and the reelection of Kathy Fish to its Board of Directors. The organization’s 10-Year Athletes elected Fink and its eligible voting members of the House of Delegates elected Fish to four-year terms at the Annual Business Meeting.
Fink is a two-time Olympian and three-time Olympic medalist. He is as an assistant project manager at Quanta Utility Engineering Services. Serving on the USA Swimming Board of Directors for the past four years, Fish was reelected to a new term on Saturday. A 20-year swim parent, Fish was president of the Cincinnati Marlins and chaired “A Matter of 50 Meters,” partnering with the City of Mason to build a 50-meter pool to enable growth and excellence.
