USA Curling’s 2026 men’s and women’s national championships have been awarded to Bojangles Coliseum in Charlotte from February 23 through March 2, with the winning teams at the event advancing to represent the U.S. at the 2026 World Championships.
“We’re thrilled to bring elite-level curling to Charlotte,” said Amanda Morgan, manager of sports development at Visit Charlotte. “We’re confident that our sports-minded community will embrace it and look forward to helping grow the sport in Charlotte and North Carolina.”
Duluth, Minnesota, will host the 2025 national championships at the Duluth Entertainment Convention Center from January 27 through February 2. The 2024 event took place January 29 to February 4 at The Rink at American Dream, a retail and entertainment venue in the Meadowlands Sports Complex in East Rutherford, New Jersey.
“Enthusiasm for our sport in North Carolina is yet another example of the momentum curling has outside of its traditional areas of popularity,” said Dean Gemmell, chief executive officer of USA Curling. “The Charlotte Curling Association and the Triangle Curling Club are welcoming, curling-specific facilities with robust participation, while Coastal Carolina Curling offers our sport the Wilmington Ice House.”
The USA Curling Men’s and Women’s Nationals feature the country’s top eight women’s and top eight men’s teams. Teams earn berths through their ranking on the World Curling Team Ranking System and other qualifying events held throughout the season.
