USA Boxing has announced a new event for this year with the USA Boxing National Open to be hosted September 13–20 in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the Arvest Convention Center.
“We are incredibly excited to add another national event to the 2025 calendar for our USA Boxing members,” said Mike McAtee, USA Boxing chief executive officer and executive director. “The National Open has been a staple of our annual national events calendar and through the tireless efforts of our USA Boxing national office, we are able to partner with the city of Tulsa to provide another competition for our calendar year as we begin this new Olympic cycle.”
The national open will be the fourth and final addition to the organization’s calendar for 2025. The event will be open to all ages and divisions, as well as open to non-citizens and boxers from any national federations around the world.
In addition to being named host, Tulsa is also home to Golden Gloves VR, a partner of USA Boxing.
The Tulsa event will follow the USA Boxing International Open in Pueblo, Colorado, April 13–19 and the Junior Olympics & Summer Festival in Las Vegas from June 14–21. The final event on the calendar is the USA Boxing National Championships, which will take place in Lubbock, Texas, from December 6–13.
