USA BMX Freestyle Announces 2025 National Series and Events

 BMX Freestyle presence expands in tandem with industry

The sixth consecutive USA BMX Freestyle National Series will consist of four national events where riders from around the country will be competing for national recognition and titles.

The first event will be April 5 at Premises Park in Tucson, Arizona, followed by June 7 in Grand Prairie, Texas. The final two events will be July 12 at Four Seasons Skatepark in Madison, Wisconsin, followed by the Freestyle Series Finals on October 11 at Clairemont YMCA Park in San Diego.

“We’re excited to continue building momentum for USA BMX Freestyle this year, starting with the 2025 USA BMX Freestyle National Series,” said B.A. Anderson, chief executive officer of USA BMX. “This series represents our commitment to growing the sport, providing more opportunities for riders to showcase their skill and fostering the next generation of USA BMX Freestyle athletes. By expanding our freestyle presence alongside our racing programs, we’re strengthening the BMX community and creating a platform where all riders can thrive.”

For riders unable to compete in the three in-person qualifying events, there will be seven digital state competitions. Riders will be able to submit filmed runs and tricks from any skatepark in their area to vie for a spot in the final.

In addition to the four events, USA BMX Freestyle will be featured at USA BMX facilities and industry events, including a freestyle space at USA BMX headquarters in Tulsa, Oklahoma; a pump track format at Bentonville Bike Fest: Over Memorial Day weekend in in Arkansas and for the first time in over 20 years, USA BMX Freestyle will provide entertainment at the USA BMX Grands Pro Final Show.
