United Airlines Adds 30 Special Routes for 2023 College Football Season
Airline also signed 2022 Heisman Trophy Winner Caleb Williams to NIL deal
Posted On: July 28, 2023 By :United Airlines has announced the addition of 127 new, nonstop flights for college football season while also signing University of Southern California star quarterback Caleb Williams, last year’s Heisman Award winner, to a NIL deal.
Williams will appear in a variety of United advertising and social media spots during the season, as well as post to his own account. One of the new nonstop flights added by United this season will be for the USC game at Notre Dame on October 14.
“There’s nothing like the energy you get from seeing the fans in stands and hearing them cheer you on during a big rivalry game, whether that’s at home or on the road,” Williams said. “I’m excited to collaborate with United Airlines to help spread the news of these special college football flights so fans from all over the country can experience that energy first-hand.”
The 30 new flight routes include eight Notre Dame games, five for both Alabama and LSU and four for Ohio State. Last year, more than 50,000 fans flew United to some of the most iconic college football towns across the country.
