Tom Caradonio has been named executive director of the Daytona Beach Area Convention & Visitors Bureau. Caradonio will head the Halifax Area Advertising Authority, which promotes tourism to the greater Daytona Beach area. Prior to his appointment, Caradonio served as senior director of sales for the Albuquerque (New Mexico) Convention & Visitors Bureau.
“We’re excited to have Tom on board,” said Dan Francati, chairman of the Halifax Area Advertising Authority. “He has a wealth of experience in the day-to-day administrative side of a DMO as well as incredible convention sales and marketing knowledge. He represents the total package and the skill set we need to move the needle and capitalize on the future growth and incredible development in the Daytona Beach area.”
