Three Puerto Rico Venues Extend ASM Global Management Agreement
Puerto Rico Convention Center among venues in partnership
Posted On: October 10, 2023 By :ASM Global has been signed to a long-term renewal to continue its two-decade strategic and operational role with three properties in Puerto Rico: the Coliseo de Puerto Rico José Miguel Agrelot, Antiguo Casino de Puerto Rico and Puerto Rico Convention Center.

Coliseo de Puerto Rico José Miguel Agrelot is located at the Golden Mile of the island capital of San Juan and is the biggest indoor arena in Puerto Rico dedicated to entertainment. Antiguo Casino de Puerto Rico is a historic Beaux-Arts architecture-style building dating from 1917 and is on the national Register of Historic Places.
“Coliseo de Puerto Rico is one of the world’s most profitable arenas and has been featured and consistently ranks among the top 15 in ticket sales globally,” said Jorge L. Pérez, regional general manager for ASM Global. “Overall, our premier properties on the island have welcomed 20 million visitors since opening and we look forward to the continuation of this partnership.”
The Puerto Rico Convention Center is the largest convention center in the Caribbean and one of the most technologically advanced in the Americas. It features more than 600,000 square feet for multiuse events, meetings, conferences and exhibitions and is renowned for its design and functionality of its spaces that can accommodate up to 25,000 visitors simultaneously.
