Team IP Adds Reese’s Senior Bowl to Portfolio
The company will provide merchandise and other services for the college football all-star game
Posted On: January 16, 2020 By :Team IP has formed a partnership with the Reese’s Senior Bowl to become the event’s exclusive provider for merchandise, decorated apparel, branded products and online retail integration. The Reese’s Senior Bowl is a college all-star game coached by the full staffs of two National Football League clubs.
For Team IP, the move adds to a growing list of college football bowl games for which the company provides merchandise and other serves. Team IP’s portfolio includes 14 other bowl games, nine of which are owned and operated by ESPN events. For the games, Team IP designs branded apparel and event-specific merchandise and championship apparel online that is made available after the event.
“Being a part of the Reese’s Senior Bowl is the perfect way to tie up our 2019–2020 bowl season,” said Randy Sparks, Team IP chief executive officer and founder. “The new partnerships we were able to add this year really made for an exciting season. We can’t wait to see what next year holds in store.”
Participating teams in the Senior Bowl are prioritized based on the NFL draft order with a caveat being that teams must have a full staff in place. The access to player evaluation has been deemed valuable in helping shape draft classes over the years. This year the NFL has assigned the Cincinnati Bengals and Detroit Lions as the coaching staffs for the game, which will be played for the 71st time on January 25 at Ladd-Peebles Stadium in Mobile, Alabama.
