Welcome to the SportsTravel Bid Bowl. Here you will find a list of events that are actively seeking hosts, with RFPs from regional, national and international sports-event organizers who are looking to partner with destinations in the future. To find out about each item below, click on “More Information” to get details about what the event organizer is looking for, as well as a complete RFP with even more specifications about the event including venue requirements, hotel needs and fees associated with bidding.
U.S. Youth Soccer Principle Headquarters
Bid Deadline: October 1, 2024
About the Organization: The US Youth Soccer Association has had its principal office HQ in Frisco, Texas. While USYS would like to stay at this facility, FC Dallas is beyond capacity in their building and would like USYS to vacate the space at the end of the lease, or sooner if we find a suitable location. USYS employs 54 staff, 24 located in Frisco. Our office space includes 8,000 sq. feet of offices and 5,000 sq. feet of warehouse space. Looking ahead, we ideally would like office space for up to 35 staff and would prefer to have warehouse space close. The ideal location would be on or close to a sports complex with 12 or more fields. USYS, based on the facility and/or surrounding available fields would potentially bring one of its Championship Events. MORE INFORMATION
Bassmaster Elite Series

About the Organization: The B.A.S.S. Elite Series is the pinnacle of professional bass fishing. It is the top 100 anglers competing for a grand prize of $100,000 over the course of four days. We are flexible to make the event work to any market and location and love being creative since our ultimate goal is to bring fishing to the masses. There are six other tiers of tournaments that are offered as well. MORE INFORMATION
AJGA Junior Championship
Bid Deadline: October 4, 2024
About the Organization: The American Junior Golf Association is interested in bringing an event to an area for a minimum of three years. AJGA is exploring opportunities during the months of June through August. The event has opportunity to benefit a local charity of choice. Akl players and families will be in town playing Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. MORE INFORMATION
2025 ITTF PanAmerican Cup and 2025 US Junior National Championships

About the Organization: The ITTF PanAmerican Cup takes places every year and serves as a continental qualifier for the World Cup with 200 athletes expected featuring the best Table Tennis athletes in the Americas. The U.S. Junior National Championships is an event where youth players from all across the country compete in various categories (U19, U17, U15, U13, U11) for both boys and girls in Singles, Doubles and Mixed Doubles Events. United States Collegiate Athletic Association Events

About the Organization: The United States Collegiate Athletic Association is a national organization for the intercollegiate athletic programs of 77 mostly small colleges, including community/junior colleges, across the United States. The USCAA holds 15 National Championships and 2 National Invitationals annually. MORE INFORMATION
MARS Request For Interest 2025+

About the Organization: MARS is looking for new destinations to host Turf Wars in 2025. The recent success of events has created an uptick in interest around the country. The event is split into two days of competition with Saturday being the co-ed competitions and Sunday featuring both women’s and men’s competition. Two divisions of kickball are offered with social being the baseline level and pro being the top level. Interested in January-November availability. Events normally take place Saturday and Sunday, sometimes Friday also. For warmer climates, they are looking to add events in the 1st and 4 quarter of 2025 and beyond. MORE INFORMATION
USA Taekwondo Events

About the Organization: USA Taekwondo is the National Governing Body for the sport of taekwondo as recognized by the United States Olympic and Paralympic Committee. USATKD provides developmental opportunities for Taekwondo athletes throughout the United States to cultivate their knowledge of the sport while striving for world- class status and has a variety of tournaments looking for new hosts.
