SoFi Stadium Awarded 2025 and 2027 Concacaf Nations League Finals
California stadium will host finals after first three finals were held in other sites
Posted On: October 9, 2024 By :SoFi Stadium will host the 2025 and 2027 Concacaf Nations League semifinals and finals, a continental championship that is held every other year and will be scheduled around the 2026 FIFA World Cup, of which the Inglewood stadium will host multiple matches.
SoFi Stadium is home to the NFL’s Los Angeles Rams and Chargers. In 2023, the stadium hosted a sold-out Concacaf Gold Cup Final between Mexico and Panama. The Nations League semifinals and finals were in Denver in 2021 before moving to Los Vegas in 2023 and Dallas in 2024.
“We are extremely pleased that SoFi Stadium – one of the best venues in the world – will host the next two editions of our Concacaf Nations League Finals and that Hollywood Park, in which the stadium is based, will host a range of fan activities to celebrate this tremendous competition,” said Concacaf President Victor Montagliani. “These compelling events, alongside our 2025 Gold Cup and men’s and women’s club competitions, will take place at a pivotal time for the growth of the game in the region.”
The 2025 semifinals will be March 20 before the third place match and final on March 23. Dates for the 2027 matches were not announced by Concacaf. The Concacaf Nations League is a national teams competition with the 2024-2025 edition already underway. The fourth best teams in League A, the top league in Concacaf, will reach the semifinals and go to California.The Group Stage and Quarterfinals also serve as the qualifiers for next summer’s Concacaf Gold Cup.
