Australia’s National Rugby League has announced its plans for the Rugby League Las Vegas Festival 2025, which will include more games, teams, nations and opportunities for traveling supporters than ever before.
The four-game schedule will be played at Allegiant Stadium on March 1, 2025, and will be the NRL’s second trip to Sin City in as many years. The event, supported by the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority, will bring together six teams from the Super League and the NRL, as well as two women’s teams for an international test match.
“Las Vegas 2025 will be a bigger, bolder and better festival of rugby league,” said Andrew Abdo, NRL chief executive officer. “We’ve given fans the opportunity to plan early and take advantage of the Las Vegas festival experience — a true bucket list item for all rugby league and sports fans.”
The first match features 2024 UK Challenge Cup finalists Wigan and Warrington from the Super League at 1:30 p.m. PT, followed by the NRL’s Canberra Raiders and New Zealand Warriors at 4 p.m. The women’s test match features Australia vs England at 6 p.m. and the nightcap includes the NRL’s Penrith Panthers taking on the Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks at 8:30 p.m.
“Thank you to all our partners, including the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority, Allegiant Stadium and our broadcast partners, who have worked closely with us to create this innovative and truly unique event,” Abdo said. “Thank you to all the participating teams who will now get the chance to perform on a global stage with huge exposure.”
