Roanoke to Host USA Cycling Endurance Mountain Bike National Championships
Virginia’s Blue Ridge will be the home for the event in 2025 and 2026
Posted On: June 25, 2024 By :Roanoke in Virginia’s Blue Ridge has been announced as the host for the USA Cycling Endurance Mountain Bike National Championships for the next two years.
The event combines cross-country and marathon mountain bike events and brings together cyclists of all categories to compete for national titles in 2025–2026, with the first event tentatively slated for July 2025.
“It’s an absolute joy to return to Roanoke,” said Brendan Quirk, USA Cycling president and chief executive officer. “We’re still buzzing from the experience of hosting the 2022 and 2023 Amateur Road National Championships there. And now, with this exciting announcement of the Endurance Mountain Bike National Championships, it’s evident why Virginia’s Blue Ridge is one of America’s foremost cycling destinations. The incredible variety of riding terrain and the passion for all forms of bike racing is a huge community strength.”
Athletes will vie for gold on the trails and landscapes of Explore Park, Elmwood Park, and Carvins Cove, with Virginia’s Blue Ridge providing a competitive course.

The remaining locations for the 2025 and 2026 National Championship seasons will be announced in the coming weeks.
