Play Greenville Promotes Ce’Nedra Dillard to Director of Sports Development

Ce’Nedra Dillard has been promoted to director of sports development for the Greenville-Pitt County Convention & Visitors Bureau (Visit Greenville, NC) and Greenville-Pitt County Sports Commission (Play Greenville, NC Sports).

Dillard has been sports sales manager for the organizations. In her new position, she will continue her current responsibilities to identify, solicit, secure and retain sports events for Play Greenville, NC Sports and participating in local, regional, and national travel, conferences, marketplaces and conventions.

“Being born and raised in the Greenville-Pitt County area, it has been a journey seeing the growth my home has had, especially over the last few years,” Dillard said. “It is such an exciting time to be at the forefront of our community witnessing its growth, while being aligned with amazing partners working to promote what our city has to offer. In my new role as director of sports development, I look forward to continuing to help showcase Greenville-Pitt County as a premiere sports tourism destination and as a place where there is truly something for every visitor to enjoy.”

Dillard has been participating on the Greenville-Pitt County Sports Complex Task Force, providing insight and education to members regarding the sports tourism field to determine the best type and location for a potential new Greenville-Pitt County sports complex.
