Following a record-setting WrestleMania event on April 6–7 at Lincoln Financial Field, the Philadelphia Convention & Visitors Bureau is now auctioning off pieces of WWE history with the proceeds going to a good cause.
WrestleMania XL in Philadelphia was the most successful and highest-grossing event in WWE history. The event shattered all-time gate, viewership, merchandise, fan event and social media records.
For a limited time, the Philadelphia CVB will auction the banners that feature many of the WWE superstars and which lined the streets of the city.
The auction has already raised nearly $24,000 and bidding will be accepted through May 6 at 11 p.m. EST. Proceeds from the auction will benefit the 501(c)3 PHLCVB Foundation.
