The PGA Tour has announced that it will again partner with various Palm Beach entities for the Cognizant Classic, which takes place February 26 through March 2 in Palm Beach, Florida.
The event at the Champion Course at PGA National Resort & Spa will include presenting sponsorship from the Palm Beach County Tourist Developmental Council, Palm Beach County Sports Commission and Discover The Palm Beaches.
The Cognizant Classic was founded in 1972 and the tournament was known as the Honda Classic from 1982 through 2023 before Cognizant took over as title sponsor. The Champion Course has hosted the event since 2007.
“We are excited to welcome back the Palm Beach County Tourist Developmental Council, Palm Beach County Sports Commission and Discover The Palm Beaches as the presenting sponsors for the 2025 Cognizant Classic in The Palm Beaches,” said Todd Fleming, executive director of the Cognizant Classic. “Having the support from the local community has been instrumental to the success of the event and we look forward to delivering a premier experience that reflects the style, sophistication and elegance of Palm Beach County.”
At the 2025 event, Palm Beach County Sports Commission will feature branded charging stations in two Shoreline Suites located on the 18th hole and Discover The Palm Beaches will activate a cabana tent with their branding between holes 10, 11 and 17 that will include a video board, signage, furniture, concessions and a bar.
“The Cognizant Classic in The Palm Beaches isn’t just a premier PGA Tour event — it’s a celebration of everything that makes The Palm Beaches the ultimate golf destination,” said Mayor Maria Marino. “As both a professional golfer and Palm Beach County’s Mayor, I’m proud to see our community come together to support a tournament that drives economic impact, elevates our global profile and gives back to local charities. We look forward to welcoming players, fans and visitors to experience world-class competition and the unmatched hospitality of The Palm Beaches.”
