NHL and PointsBet Partner on Betting Content
The deal will include sports betting information on NHL broadcasts
Posted On: February 10, 2021 By :The NHL and international sportsbook operator PointsBet have reached a multiyear strategic partnership with PointsBet become an official sports betting partner of the league.
Under terms of the deal, which includes the league’s interests in the United States and Australia, PointsBet will receives rights to use NHL marks and logos. The sides will also create a variety of NHL sponsorship and promotional opportunities for PointsBet across linear, digital and social media assets.
The deal also gives PointsBet the ability to integrate its sportsbook content into live NHL game broadcasts across NHL media partners, including NBC Sports, NBC Sports Regional Networks, Altitude TV and other potential alignments. PointsBet, NBC Sports and the NHL have already started such integrations for the 2020-2021 NHL season, including the incorporation of PointsBet odds, data and insight to complement the pregame, in-game and postgame broadcasts.
