Madison Square Garden to Host PFL Playoffs
Fighters will compete to advance to the 2023 PFL World Championship
Posted On: June 9, 2023 By :The Professional Fighters League has announced the Theater at Madison Square Garden in New York City will host the remaining two 2023 PFL Playoff events on August 18 and August 23.
The August 18 PFL Playoff event will feature the top four heavyweights and women’s featherweights, while the August 23 PFL Playoff event will feature the top four competitors across the welterweight and lightweight divisions. The athletes will compete for the chance to advance to the 2023 PFL World Championship and an opportunity to earn a $1 million championship purse.
Tickets for the 2023 PFL Playoffs at The Theater at Madison Square Garden will be available for presale on June 19, and available to the general public beginning June 20. Tickets begin at $29.
“The PFL is thrilled to return to New York City and the ‘World’s Most Famous Arena’ with two nights of PFL Playoff action,” said PFL Chief Executive Officer Peter Murray. “On August 18 and August 23, the world’s best fighters will enter the PFL Smartcage with a trip to the 2023 PFL World Championship on the line. The PFL Regular Season has led to these critical moments, where elite athletes move one step closer to their $1 million dreams.”
During the 2023 PFL Playoffs, four fighters across six competing weight-classes will have one opportunity to punch their tickets to the 2023 PFL World Championship, where they will earn a bid at the 2023 PFL championship and $1 million prize.
