KemperSports will manage the Williamsburg Sports & Events Center, a Virginia facility scheduled to open in 2026.
KemperSports Venues, a division of KemperSports, will manage the center after being selected by the Historic Triangle Recreational Facilities Authority, a partnership between the city of Williamsburg, James City County and York County.
Once complete, the Williamsburg Sports & Events Center will include more than 200,000 square feet of recreation space, including 12 basketball courts that can be converted to 24 volleyball courts and 36 pickleball courts, conversion turf capabilities with enough space for one full size football field or six five-on-five soccer fields, a climbing wall and more.
“KemperSports brings a proven track record of excellence in hospitality which we believe aligns well with our vision and regional culture,” said Andrew Trivette, chair of the HTRFA. “Their collective passion for sports and delivering exceptional experiences for our guests will be a tremendous asset to the sports complex.”
In a similar development, KemperSports Venues is working with the city of Saraland, Alabama, as they recently broke ground to create The Land, a municipally-owned complex. The company also recently announced plans for a $70 million indoor sports complex in Henderson, Nevada.
