KemperSports Tabs Jim Boedecker as SVP of Golf Strategy and Growth
Boedecker previously worked for Outlyr, IMG Worldwide, and Intersport
Posted On: April 2, 2024 By :Jim Boedecker, a sports marketing and golf industry veteran with more than 20 years experience, will join KemperSports as senior vice president – golf strategy and growth.
Boedecker will be responsible for leveraging KemperSports’ portfolio of golf and sports properties and assets to create new revenue streams for the company. He will also look to develop new lines of business for KemperSports around golf, sports, and hospitality.
Before joining KemperSports, Boedecker worked in leadership roles at Outlyr, IMG Worldwide and Intersport. He has developed marketing programs for brands including Cadillac and JP Morgan Chase and also handled sales and marketing for more than 100 PGA Tour, LPGA, European Tour and Champions Tour players.
“Over the last two decades, Jim has positioned himself as a leader in the golf and marketing space,” said KemperSports Chief Executive Officer Steve Skinner. “His passion for golf and his ability to connect brands and organizations that drive business goals will be a tremendous asset to the KemperSports family.”
Boedecker played college golf at Marquette, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in business.
