Josh Howell Named Sports Sales Manager at Visit Wichita

Josh Howell has been hired as sports sales manager at Visit Wichita (Kansas).
With more than 10 years of experience in sports sales and marketing, Howell most recently served as director of development, events and marketing at the Greater Wichita Area Sports Commission. He also previously worked at Intrust Bank Arena, the University of Arizona, Wichita State University and the University of Arkansas.
“I am very excited to begin my role as sports sales manager at Visit Wichita. My last two positions have given me the opportunity to develop relationships within the sports industry, specifically in the Wichita community, and I’m looking forward to continuing to grow and expand upon them,” said Howell. “Additionally, Wichita has so much momentum right now. I can’t wait to work with our local venues to keep that energy going by bringing in national sporting events that our community so greatly deserves.”
