AAU College Hockey’s 2025 National Championship will take place at the Community First Igloo in Jacksonville, Florida.
“We are proud to be the first city in Florida and the South to host this event,” said Michael Corrigan, president and chief executive officer of Visit Jacksonville. “We are dedicated to bringing more and more sporting events to Florida’s championship city. Our growing partnership with the AAU has solidified into something we know will be successful for both sides for years to come.”
The tournament will feature men’s and women’s divisions competing for their respective national titles from March 5–9, 2025. The Men’s Division Il and Division Ill teams will hit the ice from March 18–25, 2025, to vie for their championships.
“Bringing the National Championship Tournament to Jacksonville underscores our commitment to growing the game and expanding opportunities for our student-athletes,” said Jon LaRochester, AAU College Hockey director of operations. “The Community First Igloo provides a premier venue that aligns with our mission to create unforgettable experiences for our member programs and fans.”
AAU College Hockey is a member organization of the Amateur Athletic Union of the United States.
“We are very excited to bring our national championships to Florida and partnering with Visit Jacksonville along with the Florida Sports Foundation and Zawyer Sports (owners of the Jacksonville Icemen and Community First Igloo) will enable us to create an even greater festival experience for our student-athletes and fans,” said Mark Purowitz, board chair of AAU College Hockey.
