Mark Stenning has announced plans to step down from his position as International Tennis Hall of Fame & Museum CEO in September 2014.
“Mark is a highly respected and special leader. He has brought the International Tennis Hall of Fame & Museum to levels that our visionary founders never could have imagined,” said Chairman Christopher Clouser.
Stenning began his career at the Hall of Fame in 1980, holding the positions of tournament director, executive vice-president and chief operating officer. He was named CEO in 2000. He will transition to consulting work for the organization, as well as remain on the Board of Directors for the “foreseeable future,” according to a statement from the Hall of Fame.
