The Rock ‘n’ Roll Marathon Series has announced that Humana will become the title sponsor of six Rock ‘n’ Roll Marathon Series events and a series-wide partner for 2018. In addition, Humana will title the 2018 Iron Girl Clearwater Half Marathon & 5K. As part of the sponsorship, brand ambassador Kathrine Switzer – the first woman to officially run the Boston Marathon in 1967 – will appear alongside Humana employees to support and inspire runners, walkers and volunteers to take charge of their health.
Humana will have a branded mile on course as well as an interactive footprint at the following events:
- Humana Rock ‘n’ Roll New Orleans Marathon & ½ Marathon – March 3–4, 2018
- Humana Rock ‘n’ Roll Raleigh Half Marathon – April 7–8, 2018
- Humana Iron Girl Clearwater – April 8, 2018
- Humana Rock ‘n’ Roll Chicago Half Marathon – July 21–22, 2018
- Humana Rock ‘n’ Roll Virginia Beach Half Marathon – September 1–2, 2018
- Humana Rock ‘n’ Roll Savannah Marathon & ½ Marathon – November 3–4, 2018
- Humana Rock ‘n’ Roll San Antonio Marathon & ½ Marathon – December 1–2, 2018
