In the cities of the Southwest, all of the rich cultures that have shaped this American region are proudly represented in a variety of ways. Visitors can explore sites that honor the heritage of Native Americans, enjoy meals that have been passed down by generations of Hispanic settlers and are likely to see their fair share of urban cowboys. Like any travelers who appreciate a good thing, athletes and spectators are drawn to the dynamism and vibrancy of the Southwest, not to mention its abundance of sunny days, making it a promising place to hold sports events all year long.
