The facility will also utilize one-time funding sources, including the public infrastructure bond sale, West Henderson Development Fund and City Municipal Facilities Fund.
“We are looking forward to partnering with the city of Henderson to bring their innovative vision of a state-of-the-art sports complex to life,” said Steve Goris, KemperSports senior vice president. “This complex will be a tremendous community asset for local residents and a destination for youth sports families.”
In addition to the recreational amenity, the complex will work to attract sports tournaments, locally and regionally.
“We are proud to be leaders of public-private partnerships that have benefited our residents,” said Henderson City Manager and Chief Executive Officer Richard Derrick. “We are excited to see the successes of this indoor sports complex, just as we have seen with the America First Center and Lee’s Family Forum.”
