An abundance of state-of-the-art venues and unending support from local officials make the South-Atlantic region a desirable destination for events

Whether it’s nitty gritty BMX races or fuel-injected NASCAR action, high-stepping horse shows or smooth-gliding rowing competitions, sports events in the South-Atlantic are as diverse as the region itself. With a mix of Deep South and East Coast values, the states bordering the southern Atlantic Coast (as well as Florida’s embrace of the Gulf of Mexico) offer a wide range of history, culture and geography—all of which shape sports markets.
