“ESPN Experiences: Take Me Out to the Ballparks tour is a new offering we’re incredibly proud to introduce,” said Zack Malet, senior director of sports business development and innovation, ESPN. “The curated experience between ESPN, MLB, and our friends at Adventures by Disney will bring baseball enthusiasts closer to the game they love. We anticipate this tour to be the first of more to come across other sports and leagues.”
The tour starts August 29 with seats at the Green Monster at Fenway Park as the Red Sox face the Toronto Blue Jays. The following day will include a tour of ESPN headquarters and lunch with ESPN MLB analyst Doug Glanville. On August 31, the tour starts at Yankee Stadium with a private tour and meet-and-greet with broadcaster Michael Kay before watching the Yankees and Cardinals from a suite.
The tour continues September 1 at the Jackie Robinson Museum with a private tour, and finishing at Citizens Bank Park, home of the Philadelphia Phillies, in a Sunday Night Baseball game against National League East foe Atlanta Braves in a suite. Attendees will also have a chance to meet Sunday Night Baseball announcers Karl Ravech, David Cone, Eduardo Pérez and Buster Olney before returning home on September 2.
