Eric Marvin has been named executive director of the Hampton Roads Sports Commission and vice-president of sports development for the Hampton Roads Chamber of Commerce. The HRSC is an affiliate of the Hampton Roads Chamber of Commerce, which is based in Norfolk, Virginia.
“Eric comes to us with a solid background in sports management and tourism and we’re confident that his experience and leadership will be a great benefit to the Sports Commission and the Hampton Roads region,” said Bryan Stephens, president and CEO of the Hampton Roads Chamber of Commerce. “The HRSC is bringing the AAU Junior Olympics and Can-Am Police-Fire Games to Hampton Roads, so Eric is coming on board during a crucial and exciting time for the organization.”
Most recently, Marvin served as executive director for Lawrence County Tourism in Lawrence County, Indiana.
