Diane McGraw has been named tourism director of the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development. She brings more than 25 years of experience in the sports event and tourism industries, having helped market various cities, including Philadelphia, Los Angeles, Orlando and Louisville, and served as one of the founding directors of the National Association of Sports Commissions.
“After representing major cities across the United States, I am excited to bring my expertise and ideas to help strengthen and grow the robust tourism industry in Pennsylvania, my home state,” said McGraw. “I am looking forward to collaborating with Team Pennsylvania Foundation and the Pennsylvania Association of Travel & Tourism (PATT), on behalf of the Corbett Administration, to help shape the new public-private partnership initiative, while continuing to provide the necessary resources and assistance to our tourism stakeholders throughout the state.”
McGraw will serve as the state’s liaison for the public/private partnership within Pennsylvania’s tourism industry and will work toward the promotion of the state as a major domestic and international tourist destination.
