Devon Doggett Named Sports Sales Manager Role at Visit Frisco

Visit Frisco announces the promotion of Devon Doggett to sports sales manager charged with recruiting and hosting sports events to the Texas destination.

Doggett joined Visit Frisco in March 2023 as sports and events destination services coordinator. He was part of the team hosting NCAA Division I FCS Championship games, PGA Jr League Championships, LoneStar Conference tournaments, East-West Shrine Bowl, U.S. Army Bowl and Scooter’s Coffee Frisco Bowl games. Doggett earned the Visit Frisco Employee of the Year in 2024.

“We are thrilled to promote Devon Doggett into this new role within Visit Frisco,” said Josh Dill, assistant executive director of Visit Frisco. “Devon has demonstrated an insatiable drive to learn, grow and take on additional responsibilities to ensure that Sports City USA remains a leader in the sports events and tourism industry.”

Prior to joining Visit Frisco, Doggett was in recreation services for the cities of McKinney and Irving, working with youth football and volleyball, adult soccer and softball, sport performance and high school sports operations.

Doggett was a three-year letterwinner as a defensive end on the football team at Midwestern State University and a member of the Lone Star Conference Commissioner’s Honor Roll. In his spare time, Doggett competes in the Official Strongman Games where he earned fourth place in the 2024 Games in Germany.
