Indiana Sports Corp has announced the hiring of Dan Gliot as senior director of marketing and communications. Gliot comes to Indiana Sports Corp after spending the past five years at the Horizon League.
Gliot will be responsible for developing, overseeing and executing Indiana Sports Corp communication strategies. Gliot joins the organization as it approaches 2024 and a year in which Indianapolis will host the NBA All-Star Weekend, National Invitational Tournament, NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball Championship First and Second Rounds, and the U.S. Olympic Team Trials in swimming.
“Dan comes to Indiana Sports Corp with a great deal of experience and knowledge in marketing and communications that is essential to our organization’s upcoming event schedule,” said Patrick Talty, president of Indiana Sports Corp. “He is a fantastic addition to our team, and we are excited about the expertise he provides.”
While at the Horizon League, Gliot most recently served as assistant commissioner of messaging and branding. In that role, he managed all aspects of the organization’s branding, including strategic communications, media relations, and marketing efforts. Gliot oversaw substantial growth to the Horizon League website and social media channels.
