Chamber Collective of Greater Portsmouth Elevates Ben VanCamp to President
New leader previously worked at Asheville Sports Commission in North Carolina
Posted On: August 2, 2021 By :Ben VanCamp is the new president at the Chamber Collaborative of Greater Portsmouth in New Hampshire. VanCamp has served the Chamber Collaborative since 2017 after working in the sports-event industry in North Carolina.
As the organization’s vice president since 2017, VanCamp has helped rebrand the Chamber and instill it with a new mission-vision process. VanCamp also launched a Small But Mighty recognition program to highlight the true force of our local small business community, and continues to create valued video documentation of these businesses. As part of a brand-new networking program for the Chamber in 2020, he launched two weekly Connect & Collaborate groups for member businesses.
VanCamp went to Portsmouth after serving as the executive director at the Asheville Buncombe Regional Sports Commission. In his time in the market, the Commission either brought or helped to oversee 48 events to the area with an estimated economic impact of over $48.4 million.
