Celebrating Events in the
Mid-Atlantic

The Mid-Atlantic knows how to pack them in. From New York City to Philadelphia to Washington, D.C., to Baltimore, no city is very far from another, and unlike the sprawling American West, here teams can drive across four states in less than four hours. Alternately, any number of international airports in the region are minutes from metropolitan hubs of government, commerce and entertainment.
The region’s sports facilities are equally abundant and range from iconic venues such as RFK Stadium and Navy–Marine Corps Memorial Stadium to new sports complexes and beachfront convention centers perfect for youth sports. And after events are done, athletes can explore the best of the Eastern seaboard. Busy harbor cities dot the Chesapeake Bay and Delaware Bay. Quiet beach towns feature bustling boardwalks and wide stretches of sand. And historic monuments attest to the possibility of achievement.
