Brightline Service Expands From Miami to Orlando
New routes will begin later this summer
Posted On: May 17, 2023 By :Brightline will begin selling tickets for its Orlando connection that will allow sports fans to travel between South Florida locations and Orlando starting later this summer, with an official opening date and inaugural rides to be announced after Brightline has completed required testing.
Brightline will offer one-way fares starting at $79 for adults and $39 for kids with Smart service offering a business-class option with complimentary WiFi, multiple power and USB outlets and an array of food and beverages available for purchase. Premium first-class fares start at $149 with a dedicated lounge, priority boarding, checked luggage and complimentary snacks and beverages. Brightline’s non-stop trains have a run time between Miami and Orlando of two hours and 59 minutes. Regular service from Orlando to Miami will stop at all Brightline stations including West Palm Beach, Boca Raton, Fort Lauderdale and Aventura with a run time of three hours and 30 minutes.

Being able to offer a seamless and efficient travel experience for fans is paramount, and this rail service does exactly that. We believe that this investment in connectivity will catalyze sports tourism growth between Orlando and Miami to provide a boost to both economies, and we can’t wait to see trains full of kids traveling with their families to play in tournaments at any one of our more than a dozen youth sports complexes across Greater Orlando.”
Service will include 16 daily round trips with hourly departures between Miami and Orlando. Regular service from Orlando to Miami will stop at all Brightline stations including West Palm Beach, Boca Raton, Fort Lauderdale and Aventura. Additional dedicated trains will continue to serve the South Florida region between Miami and West Palm Beach with early morning departures at 5 a.m. from West Palm Beach and late night departures until 12:45 a.m. out of Miami.
Unveiled for the first time last month, the new Orlando station is located in Orlando International Airport’s new 80,000 sq. ft. Train Station facility adjacent to Terminal C. The station provides direct access to the other airport terminals via the airport Terminal Link in under five minutes. The guest journey begins at the main entrance, located off the airport’s two-story glass atrium. Once inside the station, passengers can purchase tickets from guest services or one of several self-service kiosks and check luggage before proceeding through touchless turnstiles into the security screening tunnel.
