As much as the NCAA’s new leaders in charge of the NCAA men’s and women’s basketball championships are immersed in organizing this year’s events, they can’t help but reminisce on how much college basketball’s championships have grown. Both recent appointees, Dan Gavitt on the men’s side and Anucha Browne on the women’s, bring enriched basketball backgrounds to their current positions. And they’ll have plenty of opportunities to make their experience count during the upcoming men’s and women’s championships when Atlanta hosts the men’s Final Four April 6 and 8, and New Orleans hosts the Women’s Final Four April 7 and 9.
