USA Curling Night in America
Date: August 22–25
Venue: Raleigh, North Carolina
Event description: Teams will compete in three disciplines — men’s, women’s and mixed doubles. The three‐day competition will have action at 10 a.m., 2:30 p.m. and 7 p.m. daily, with a special competition on August 25 between curlers and stars from the NHL and United States women’s hockey team.
Number of athletes/participants: Teams from the United States, Japan, Scotland and Italy will participate.

42nd Barefoot Water Ski Championships
Date: August 22–25
Venue: Blue Moo Lake, Alma Center, Wisconsin
Event description: The nation’s top barefoot water ski athletes from across the United States are expected to compete for national titles in slalom, tricks, jumping and overall in respective age divisions and Open divisions.
Number of athletes/participants: Up to 150

USA Softball Women’s Open Slow Pitch Championship
Date: August 23–25
Venue: Waxahachie, Texas
Event description: Teams will compete for a national championship. This event also serves as an identifying tournament for the Women’s Slow Pitch and Futures Slow Pitch National Teams.
Number of athletes/participants: Five-plus teams with 10 players per team
