USA Softball Super Slow Pitch National Championships
Date: August 15–16
Venue: Hendersonville, Tennessee
Event description: Teams in the super slow pitch division will compete for a national championship at this event, which also serves as an identifying tournament for the men’s slow pitch and future slow pitch national teams.
Number of athletes/participants: Five-plus teams with 10 players on each team

Date: August 17–18

USA Triathlon Ultra-Distance National Championship
Date: August 18
Venue: Versluis Park, Grand Rapids, Michigan
Event description: The 1.2-mile, two‐loop, spectator‐friendly swim will be in Versluis Lake before a two‐loop, 112-mile bike will leave the park. Following a transition at the end of the bike ride at the park, the four‐loop, 26.2-mile run course will go through Plainfield and Ada before returning to Grand Rapids as athletes get a chance to compete against the top triathletes in the country to win a national title.

Number of spectators: 3,000
