Allegiant Airlines Creates New Flights for 2024 NFL Season

Fans will have additional options as they travel to see their team play

Allegiant Airlines has announced a series of special flights for the National Football League season out of six airports with direct flights for weekend getaways during the fall.

Flights will be targeted for fans of the Green Bay Packers, Detroit Lions, Cleveland Browns, Kansas City Chiefs and Minnesota Vikings, each of which have airports that Allegiant currently travel to and from. In addition to being the namesake for the Raiders’ stadium, the airline has also previously struck sponsorship deals with the Indianapolis Colts and the Pac-12 Conference.

“Football fans are the heartbeat of the game and we want to make sure they can feel every pulse-pounding moment live,” said Drew Wells, Allegiant chief revenue officer. “These specialty flights have been extremely popular during past NFL seasons and we expect them to sell out in advance of the game.”

For Packers fans, Allegiant will offer direct flights from Appleton International Airport to Nashville on September 21 and September 23 as the Packers take on the Titans in Week 3. Packers fans also will have extra flights to Los Angeles departing on October 4 and returning on October 7 to watch the Packers take on the Rams in Week 5 and additional flights to and from Jacksonville on October 25 and October 28 for the Packers vs. Jaguars showdown in Week 8. There will also be added flights from Rockford International Airport to Nashville on September 21 and September 23.

Lions fans departing from Gerald R. Ford International Airport will have an extra return flight from Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport on September 23 to help Detroit fans return from Arizona after a clash against the Cardinals in Week 3. Vikings fans departing from Hector International Airport in Fargo, North Dakota, will have added flights to and from Nashville on November 16 and November 18 as the Vikings battle the Titans in Week 10.

The Browns face the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 4 at Allegiant Stadium, and Cleveland fans departing from Akron-Canton Airport to Harry Reid International Airport in Las Vegas will have extra flights departing on September 28 and returning on September 30. Chiefs fans will also have extra flights to and from Las Vegas, departing from Kansas City International Airport on October 26 and returning on October 28 to see the Chiefs take on the Raiders in Week 7.
