The American Junior Golf Association and Marie Birdie have announced a five-year partnership to advance opportunities for young female golfers, with the girls golf and lifestyle brand becoming the title sponsor of the Marie Birdie Senior Girls Championship at Las Vegas Golf Club in December.
The Marie Birdie Senior Girls Championship will feature a field of up to 78 golfers. The AJGA and Marie Birdie will collaborate to enhance the event experience and explore additional opportunities for growth throughout the agreement’s duration.
“We are thrilled to partner with Marie Birdie in our mission to provide world-class opportunities for junior golfers,” said AJGA Director of Development Patrick Cansfield. “With their dedication to empowering female athletes through innovative and stylish apparel, this partnership will not only enhance our players’ experience but also help champion the next generation of female golfers.”
The Marie Birdie Senior Girls Championship is designed for female junior golfers in their senior year of high school who are not yet committed to a college or university, giving them the chance to gain exposure and compete at a high level as they prepare for the next stage of their careers—whether in college golf or beyond.
“This partnership with AJGA is a game-changer for Marie Birdie,” Marie Birdie Owner and CEO Rebekah Alfond said. “Junior golf is at the heart of everything we do and teaming up with AJGA allows us to support and inspire the next generation of female players. It’s more than just apparel—it’s about creating opportunities, building confidence, and making sure every girl feels seen and celebrated in the game. We’re proud to be part of a movement that’s shaping the future of girls’ golf.”
