The latest in a series of ticket releases for the 2024 Olympic Summer Games in Paris will be unveiled on February 8, the same day the local organizing committee unveils the design of the Games’ medals.
The sale will begin at 10 a.m. Paris time on tickets.paris2024.org. All sports will be on offer, although some will be available in limited numbers. Nearly half of the tickets released on the day will be for less than €100 ($108 US). The sale will be open to all on a first-come, first-served basis and a maximum of 30 tickets can be purchased per ticketing account, taking previous orders into account.
Of the new tickets, 95% will be for events in the Ile-de-France region, which includes venues that will host track and field and rugby, field hockey, swimming and water polo and more.
New tickets for the four ceremonies of the Games will also go on sale on this occasion, notably for the Closing Ceremony of the Paralympic Games at the Stade de France on September 8 starting at €45 ($48). Of the 10 million tickets available for the Olympic Games, just under 8 million have already been sold.
Ticketing for the Paralympic Games which start August 28 is permanently open on the ticketing website as well. Tickets are available for all sports from €15 ($16 US). Some sold-out sessions will also be put back on sale, including wheelchair fencing events in the Grand Palais.
