2025 IWLCA Midwest Cup Moves to Denver

The IWLCA Midwest Cup will move to Denver this summer as Dick’s Sporting Goods Park, home of Major League Soccer’s Colorado Rapids, will host teams from across the Midwest from June 14–15.

“We’re incredibly excited to host the IWLCA Midwest Cup at Dick’s Sporting Goods Park in Denver,” said Caitlin Schmelz, vice president of lacrosse at Elite Tournaments. “Colorado’s rapidly growing lacrosse community makes it an ideal location to expand the game and foster continued development across the middle of the country.”

Colorado is one of the fastest-growing lacrosse markets in the country. According to Elite Tournaments, the move to Denver allows for expanded recruiting opportunities for college coaches with many Division I, Division II, Division III, and NAIA programs located within driving distance or a quick flight to Denver.

“We’ve long envisioned hosting this event in a place that not only supports the growth of lacrosse but also enhances the experience for everyone involved — and Denver offers just that,” Schmelz said.
