The 2025 Diamond League will include its now-traditional stop in Eugene, Oregon, as part of the full schedule of events released this week with the season starting in the Far East.
The Diamond League’s first 2025 meet will be in Xiamen, China, on April 26 and will remain in China for the second meeting of the season in Shanghaion May 3. The series will then head to Doha and Rabat before the first European meeting of the year in Rome on June 6. Following stops in Oslo, Stockholm and Paris, the circuit will then hit Eugene on July 5, where The Prefontaine Classic has been a member of the Wanda Diamond League series since 2010.
After Eugene will be Monaco and London in July before entering the home straight in August. After meetings in Silesia, Poland, then Lausanne and Brussels, the Wanda Diamond League Final will return to Zurich for the first time since 2022 on August 27-28.
The Wanda Diamond League comprises 15 events in global track and field, crossing four continents and 13 different countries. In 32 disciplines, athletes compete for points at the 14 series meetings in a bid to qualify for the two-day final in Zurich. Each discipline will be staged between four and seven times ahead of the 2025 World Athletics Championships in Tokyo in September.
