2024 Discover Puerto Rico Shootout Features Six Top Women’s Basketball Teams
The November 28–30 event will take place at the Guillermo Angulo Coliseum
Posted On: November 21, 2024 By :Discover Puerto Rico and Sport Tours International will host the 2024 Discover Puerto Rico Shootout, a women’s college basketball tournament taking place November 28–30 at the Guillermo Angulo Coliseum in Carolina.
The games will feature Wisconsin, Wyoming, Washington State, Norfolk State, Virginia and Drake. The Discover Puerto Rico Shootout has taken place annually since 1989.
“The event has some of the best athletes at the collegiate level in one of the most popular and growing sports in the United States,” said Carlos Deliz, director of sports tourism for Discover Puerto Rico. “The Green Bay basketball players face Virginia’s team for the first time since 2015. The Wyoming Cowgirls, one of the teams with the most wins last season, will face Drake’s team, the defending champion of the Missouri Valley Conference. We expect very competitive games.”
Admission to the games is free and limited to available seats. Fans can also watch each game live at www.FloSports.tv.
