The JCC Association of North America is seeking hosts for the 2020 JCC Maccabi Games, an Olympic-style sporting event for Jewish teens from around the world. The 2020 edition will be held in August. Requirements include an opening ceremony venue with a capacity of 5,000–10,000; accommodations and kosher dining facilities for 1,500 teenage athletes and coaches; and three social event spaces for 1,500. Sports facilities needed include 10 gyms (basketball/volleyball), 10 fields (soccer, lacrosse, flag football), 14 tennis courts, eight baseball fields, a golf course, an esports facility or multipurpose space for esports set-up, a track, a pool, a theater (competitive dance), an ice rink (hockey) and a multipurpose space for 4-6 tables (table tennis).
